５２歳でロードレーサーを始めて、もう２５年。６０歳までは、毎年四国四県の「センチュリーラン」を走り、「マウンテンサイクリングｉｎ乗鞍（標高差1400M）」にも、２回出走。その後しばらくロードから遠ざかり、最近５，６年は、四国今治の来海峡大橋「しまなみサイクリング大会(100km)」、「四万十・足摺　無限大チャレンジライド(108+136km)」、「2016安芸・室戸パシフィックライド」（安芸～野根山街道～室戸～安芸）を走る。２０１４年から、センチュリーラン（ハーフ）にも復帰。
