快晴ながらも暑すぎず、前半はほとんど一般道だったものの信号も少なく旧東海道の風情も感じながら快走できた。しかし久能山の手前から工事による迂回続きで何度も跨線橋を登らされ、宇津の谷隧道が通行止めで引き返さなければならなかった。更に途中でタイヤのトレッドが剥がれ残り30kmを恐る恐る走る羽目に。
