秩父湖から栃本関跡まで登り奥秩父紅葉湖へ。天気も良く紅葉には少し早めだったが車も少なく快適に走れた。全体的に斜度は緩めだったが、旧秩父往還はかなりのアップダウンがきつかった。ループ橋を通らないルートで計画を立てたが、トンネル通行止めで引き返して結局ループ橋を通る羽目に･･･。
